New Energy Communities in Paces
The IRS has issued new guidance on areas that qualify as Energy Communities. The new geographies are now reflected in the Paces map and search.
To recheck existing searches for Energy Community sites, select “Refresh Search Results” under the Manage button within a search results list. Energy community insights can also be generated on existing lists by selecting “Generate Refreshed Insights.”
New Building Dataset
A new nationwide building dataset has been integrated into the platform. This dataset provides greater accuracy and resolution of existing buildings on parcels. All new searches across all states will be run with this dataset. To reference the new dataset for existing lists, select “Refresh Search Results”.

PDF Export Available for Projects in Addition to Parcels
Users can now generate PDF Exports for projects from the project detail page. Similar to parcel PDF exports, the PDF will include the following:
An image showing the map exactly as it is on the project detail page
Note: Before exporting, be sure to fetch environmental layers and toggle on/off map layers to customize the exported image
Acreage breakdown
Gross acreage
Buildable acreage and continuous buildable acreage according to criteria set.
Utility service territories
Zoning
Filter by Distribution Substation Voltages
Users can now filter distribution substations by voltages in distribution searches, similar to transmission searches. Note that many distribution substations are missing voltage information, and using this filter will exclude these substations from search results.
