Compact Table View

A new compact view is now available for viewing all tables. This streamlined view displays more sites on your screen by initially showing only key information. To reveal more details, simply hover over a table cell. To switch to the compact view, select the new Table Settings button above any list. From the same menu, you can also reorder columns and choose which ones to display. When you hover over a site name, a satellite map preview will appear; hovering over any other cell will show additional details. You can also edit ratings or notes directly from the list. To sort by a specific column, click the arrow icon next to the column name.

New Filter Options

We’ve introduced new filtering options and streamlined how you enter filter criteria. Filters for all grid capacity information and custom datasets are now accessible from the Filter menu above any list, as well as from the top-right corner of the map view. You can specify criteria such as greater than, less than, equals, or a range of values. In addition, you can now filter sites based on whether they appear in other folders.

Expanded Custom Drawings

We’ve expanded the drawing tool options located above the map on the right side. From left to right, these tools allow you to draw a point, line, polygon, rectangle, angled rectangle, sector/radius, circle, or freeform shape. You can use them to create simple site layouts, measure distances, or calculate the square footage of specific areas. Drawings can also be used in searches to include or exclude certain regions.

Site Pop Up Redesign

Site and parcel pop-ups have been redesigned to provide critical information and actions in one compact view. The new site pop-ups display location details and area information, along with quick actions to view more details, move items between folders, rate sites, or add notes. Click the arrows in the upper-right corner of the pop-up to switch between site and parcel layers. This redesign is part of our ongoing effort to focus on sites instead of parcels throughout Paces.

Fewer New Tabs

When you select site or parcel details from the map, the relevant information now slides out from the left-hand side instead of opening a new browser tab. This update simplifies your workflow and lets you manage everything in a single tab.

Search on Power Plants

Under Grid Preferences in the Search menu, you can now search using our expanded power plant information. This includes filtering by megawatt capacity, power plant status, and power plant type.

New York Informational Wetlands Data

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Informational Freshwater Wetlands map is now available as a custom public dataset and map layer. You can also leverage this layer under Custom Datasets when performing searches. Use it alongside our nationwide wetlands layer to gain a comprehensive view of environmental conditions at sites of interest.

Unitil Hosting Capacity Map

Hosting capacity maps for Unitil in Northern Massachusetts are now available. View the lines and substations on the map or include them in searches using Grid Preferences in the Search options. Clicking on these lines displays additional capacity and voltage details.
