In addition to Paces' existing site buildable acreage calculations, users can now calculate buildable acreage inside of a custom drawing. This allows for a more precise buildable acreage calculation within an existing site.
Custom drawings can be created by accessing the Polygon tool drawing menu in the lower right hand side of the map.
Note: Buildable acreage cannot be calculated using the LineString tool.
When a new drawing is created, you will see a button in the drawing pop up to Show Buildable Area.
The buildable acreage will be displayed after clicking the Show Buildable Area button. The total area numbers for each category of environmental layers will be displayed in the legend on the right-hand side.
Note: At this time, custom drawings are limited to 2,000 acres in total area.
